We were the first solicitor in Leeds to introduce free legal advice clinics, which continue to operate at every branch on a Wednesday evening between 5.00pm and 7.00pm. The aim of free legal advice clinic is to give the public an opportunity to ask questions about situations they find themselves in, that may have a legal implication. Customers can ask questions about any legal problem, including all aspects of motoring law including speeding fines, penalty points, disqualification, drink driving. Customers who are worried they might lose their driving licence can simply drop in and voice their concerns. Motoring Law Grahame Stowe Bateson have developed an outstanding record of preserving driving licenses when at risk. As a natural progression from our criminal law work, all of our motoring law solicitors have succeeded in securing acquittals or withdrawals by the Crown Prosecution service for many complex cases. These include drink driving, drug driving, careless and dangerous driving cases. Fees Fees in relation to summary only motoring offences under Part 1 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and S89 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 are charged at a basic fee of £250 plus VAT for one court appearance. Our fees in respect of preparation, travel and waiting will be charged in addition and vary according to the Court venue.
